1000 Series Small Body Twin-Tube

1000 B-Model
The A-model and B-model 1000 Series is designed so the racer can adjust the chassis balance from the driver’s compartment. The left rear (8-2 or 10-3 range) rebound adjustable shock can change from a maximum tie down shock to a straight valving combination from the driver’s seat.

The 1000 Series small body shock is available in the ARC and BRC models (right rear cockpit adjustable), and the ERC model (eye adjustable). These shocks adjust the compression and rebound at the same time in proportional ratios. The unique design of this shock gives it a dampening range with the ability to provide high speed dampening for fast heavy conditions all the way to soft, low speed dampening for maximum traction on dry slick conditions.

1000 E-Model
The E-model and A-model 1000 Series front shocks can dramatically reduce your inventory of front shocks needed for all racing conditions. The wide adjustment range (8 to 2 or 5 to .05) on rebound will cover all your front shock requirements. The nine position dentent lock adjustments allows the mechanic to adjust the rebound dampening from the eye of the shock without removing the shock from the car.

The 1000 Series shock has a black hard anodized aluminum body machined with a coarse thread for a coil-over adjustable nut and for maximum cooling efficiency.

ARS can rebuild or revalve the 1000 Series or any small body shock we have worked on in the past to the latest valving combination for maximum performance. The small body shocks are available with many valving combinations including the R.T. valving as well as the latest split valve combinations.

1000 Non-Adjustable

The 1000 Series shock is superior to any small body twin-tube shock on the market. The ARS shock uses CNC machined aluminum internal parts designed for racing with no aftermarket parts. Instead of modified passenger car parts our competition puts in an aluminum body, the 1000 Series utilizes aluminum billet pistons and base valve assemblies to provide the most consistent performance of any twin-tube shock in the industry.

The small body design accepts the light weight 1 7/8” I.D. spring and with the black chromemoly shaft is available in 5”, 6”, 7”, 8” and 9” stroke shafts.
