| 7200 Series Mono-Tube Shock | |||||||||
The 7200 series steel body mono-tube shock is designed for the racer that says “hell with the cost, I want to go fast”. The 7200 series shock contains the latest base valve technology to provide the lowest rod pressure of any mono-tube shock built for oval track racing. Maximum traction is developed with the use of low rod pressure. The base valve installed between the floating piston and the valving piston isolates the pressure, thereby allowing for substantial reduction in rod pressure. The biggest advantage to the low pressure design is when race track become slick and tires loose there grip. The pressure is not increasing like many Brand X high pressure shocks. The 7200 series shock provides more consistent race car performance from the first lap to the end of the race by greatly decreasing spring rate build up in your shocks. This shock is available in non-adjustable or rebound or compression adjustable. The 7200 series comes standard with a Schrader valve to fine tune the gas pressure in the shock. If the series you race in will not allow Schrader valves the shock is available with the pressure pre-set and cap in the port hole to make it legal in your series. The rebound adjustable model shock contains both rebound check valve and compression bleed valve to insure no bleed-over when adjusting the rebound dampening. The compression bleed valve allows the racer to fine tune the low speed compression dampening. The compression bleed has a tremendous effect on corner transition, from corner entry to corner exit. The smooth shock body will accept a coil-over kit to slide over the body. The coil-over kits are designed to use 2-1/2” I.D. spring. Hardware is also available for 5”O.D. springs to fit over the shock. The 7200 series is availale in 6”, 7”, 8”, 9”, & 10” stroke shocks |
