4200 A-Model Adjustable
The E-model shock is ideal for asphalt late models, or sprint cars and midgets on asphalt. Maximum traction is developed with the use of low rod pressure. The base valve is installed between the floating piston and the valving piston to isolate the pressure, thereby allowing for substantial reduction in rod pressure. This rebound adjustable shock contains both rebound and compression check valves to insure no bleed-over when adjusting the rebound dampening. The compression check valve allows the racer to fine tune the low speed compression dampening. The compression bleed has a tremendous effect on corner transition, from corner entry to corner exit. |

4200 E-Model
The new one piece closure nut contains a very low drag seal to reduce seal drag to a minimum and insure constant low speed dampening control. The 4200 series has the biggest piston of any coil-over shock, flowing more oil for better cooling and providing more consistent performance. When track conditions turn and tires heat, you begin to lose grip due to the increasing pressure in those high pressure shocks. The 4200 series provides more consistent race car performance from the first lap to the end of the race by greatly decreasing spring rate build up in your shocks. The black hard anodized billet aluminum bodies are machined with a thread design to provide ¼” of spring adjustment for every one turn of the coil-over nut. The shock body will accept 2¼” or 2½” I.D. spring and is available in 4”, 5”, 6”, 7”, 8” and 9” stroke shafts. |
